Warning & Notes

Turn off the water supply and release system pressure and allow hot water to cooling before installation.

Installation

  1. Apply PTFE (Teflon) thread seal tape clockwise around the male pipe threads 5 to 6 times
  2. Thread the valve onto the pipe by hand. Use a wrench on the flats of the brass body and tighten securely
  3. Rotate the valve until the hose connection points to the right.
  4. Close the hand whee on the water supply a connections for leaks

Maintenance

Seat Sealing Overhaul:
Isolate line pressure, back out the assembly, and clean out inner debris or swap the packing Teflon to regain bubble-tight containment.

Tools Required

  1. Adjustable Wrench or Pipe Wrench
  2. PTFE (Teflon) thread seal tap
