Installation

  1. Remove the bonnet, stem assembly, and packing nut; leave only the body to be soldered or welded with the inlet pipe
  2. Assembling the Outlet Joint pipe using a compression ring and tighten it securely
  3. Assembling the bonnet and stem assembly and tighten it securely
  4. Close the handle firmly. Slowly turn on the water supply and inspect all connections for leaks

Maintenance

Leakage Around the Stem (Below Hand-wheel):
Slightly tighten the packing nut (approximately 1/8 turn) with a wrench. Do not over-tighten.

Valve Fails to Shut Off Completely (Persistent Dripping):
Isolate the water supply, remove the bonnet assembly, and inspect the seat washer. Clean or replace the washer as necessary
